What is Medical Grade Skincare?

Medical Grade Skincare products contain higher concentrations of active ingredients than what you can purchase over the counter at a typical retail store or cosmetic supplier. The brands we carry go through large clinical trials to prove the effectiveness of their products & to regulate the amount of active ingredients in the product.
Your skin is an investment - And good skincare is the ultimate insurance policy on your injectable treatments.

Our team has completed skin care training with all our brands to ensure we know the active ingredients in each brand and can find products that best suite your skin type & skin concerns.
Skin Types & Treatments
We carry products that we believe in - because we know the science behind them, have seen the clinical results, and have tried them ourselves.
We have products for all types including Normal, Oily, Dry, Combination & Sensitive skin types. Each patient has specific concerns and our products address:

Results & Longevity

Results are typically seen after a minimum of 4 weeks of product use - Your skin takes at least 28 days to start to show the results of topical products.
We often see best results after 2 - 3 months of consistent use.
We offer complimentary skincare consultations to review your current regimen and make recommendations for products that will target problem areas as well as reduce future damage. Investing in quality skincare can help improve your injectable results & creates a foundation for optimal skin health for years to come.

We always recommend starting with the following 1.) SPF 2.) Vitamin C 3.) Retinol or Retinol alternative :)
In a perfect world, we recommend: Cleanser, Toners, Vitamin C, Serum(s) to address specific concern(s) you have, Retinol, Eye cream, Hydrator (if needed - hello Calgary weather!)
Yes! All our product lines are approved by Health Canada and go through extensive clinical trial testing (meaning large studies done in controlled environments). They are required to demonstrate the actual results with imaging - They can’t just make a claim without having to have the science to back it up :) We are here for that!
Note: No all products are safe for all people - Ie. youth, pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive. Book a consult to review which products are safe for you :)
Side effects are minimal - if at all.
Medical grade skincare has higher concentrations & better quality active ingredients, so you may have a stronger reaction to medical grade products than you have to over the counter or beauty store products.
We offer complimentary consultations so we can review your current regimen and make tweaks and provide you with a usage timeline to ensure any reactions are kept to a minimum.
Skincare ranges in price depending on the product, ingredients, line, etc. Our products average between $35-125 each but we have some that are priced higher.
Our team is happy to make recommendations based on whatever budget you feel most comfortable with - Some people start with one or two products and build their regimen over time.
Results typically take 2-4 months but most patients will start to see results in a couple weeks.
Product effect varies for each patient and depends on their current skin quality as well as other lifestyle factors including stress, hormones, diet, water consumption, medications, underlying health conditions, sun exposure, other treatments, genetics, etc.
Your skin is an INVESTMENT - The more consistent you are, the sooner you start, and the better quality of products you use, will have a lifelong effect on the quality of your skin tone & texture and the way you skin ages over time.
Skincare consultations are done by members of our team - Either one of our Nurse Injectors or our Clinic Manager. You can book an appointment for a consult with a Nurse or drop in to speak with our Clinic Manager.
Consults are free and there is no obligation to purchase anything post consult!
Not quite yet - we are working on our online store but currently we online sell products in clinic.
You are welcome to call our clinic to confirm we have what you are looking for in stock - You can even pay over the phone and pick up at your convenience.
We DO sell giftcards online so you are also welcome to gift a giftcard to your loved one and they can come in to purchase products at their leisure.
There are several Medical Grade Skincare Lines available on the market - We have chosen these lines because we use the products ourselves & genuinely love them.
They also align with our values - ethical, results-driven, backed by science.
We may add product lines in the future, but as of now, these lines are our favorites and they provide a full spectrum of offerings for our patients & their skincare needs.
Absolutely! It is best to review your current regimen or other favorite products during your consult so we can ensure that you are using the products correctly and at the right times - But these lines can be combined or used on conjunction with other lines as well :)
